Biography
Mark is the Training Manager for the South Division of Alstom Transport Limited UK, looking after all the training and maintenance of 4 Depots of some 300 staff across the South of England.
Mark served in the British Army for 22 years completing many tours including in Afghanistan. Despite often working in war torn countries, Mark still found time to connect with local communities and perform charity work. Recognising his ability to go above and beyond, he was awarded an MBE for both his service to his country and his overseas charity work.
Mark’s own parents fostered children and he recalls children arriving either with nothing, or their possessions in a bin bag. These memories have driven his passion for the kits.
